There have been many changes at AO Management. We have returned to working with Hip Hop and have merged with one of the S.F. Bay Area's hottest production units which will enhance our services and the presentation of our artists. With this merger comes several new artists to our roster. We will have their stories here soon.

We will be working with the Justice Reform Coalition, out of Sacramento, to put on a major anti-violence promote the love concert tour. The "3 R's" tour will feature rock, rap, an reggae artists working together. We'll let you know more about that as things start to jell.

LITTLE JOHN

First, the Little John CD, Build Back Yard, is available online and in stores. The promotion for the album has begun and the reaction is very good. There are promo CDs for DJs and media people available. Just contact us.

This is the first new release for sale by this "Godfather" of modern dancehall in many years. The album is called, "Build Back Yard", and features all new tracks from this mighty vocalist and pioneer. It is the first release on his new John House Music label. The title song, Build Back Yard, is his plea to his fellow Jamaicans to stop the violence and oppression, and help return and boost the great things that make Jamaica the island in the sun.

AMHA BARAKA

We'd like to welcome to our family reggae artist Amha Baraka. Baraka has been around for awhile. Many of you may know him from Washington D.C., which is where he started his singing carreer in the church as a gospel singer. One day he heard some reggae and the message of Rastafari, and was converted. He began his reggae carreer as a singer and quickly rose to the heights of the D.C. reggae scene. Many well known artists would site up Baraka when they came through the area encouraging him to strike-out for freash territory. After checking out the scene in Kallie, he convinced his wife to pick-up and move to California, where he lives today. He has become one of the most respected and talented reggae singers on the West Coast. His vocal style reminds you of some of the greats, like Beres Hammond, or Dennis Brown. You can check him out at his Myspace site, and listen to four of his original songs. His new album "Strictly Roots", is out. The album is getting good reviews from listeners.

Baraka is moving forward now with his awesome group, the Livingman Band. The group features some of the top touring musicians in reggae. Reviews of their performances have been stellar. To quote one of his fans, "They sound better in person". This year is Baraka's time to push the envelope and bring back that great reggae vibe missing for so long with the rehash of the same artists and attitudes that has caused a down surge for the music in recent years. As Baraka will tell you, he has come to change the scene and bring back the roots rasta vibe that made reggae. He and the band will be touring the U.S. this year, and will be working with Little John this summer.

BUILD BACK YARD TOUR

After many years hiatus, Little John will begin seriously touring again in 2008. Due to the politics of reggae promotion, the tour has been put off to the summer. This will be his first tour of the U.S. and promises to be a great one for his many old fans who haven't seen him in years. He is in great form and his voice is better than ever. The diversity of his style is amazing. Touring with him will be Amha Baraka. They will be backed by the Livingman Band What a line up!! I can still hardly wait.
